The hotel had the most comfortable bed and very luxurious decor, but the rooms felt a bit dark and old. The service was exceptional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile, making me feel really looked after. The location was lovely and worth the amount spent on the room, adding to the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of the place. The dining experience was serviceable but nothing special, with the most absurd and pretentious atmosphere. Overall, a mix of luxury and minor drawbacks.

I must say, my stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were incredibly dark, almost like a cave, and way too small for two people, though the balcony was a nice touch. The service had its moments of friendliness, but there were some instances that needed improvement. The location wasn't as close to the tube stations as I had hoped, but it did provide a nice retreat after a day's work. The dining experience was average, with some hits and misses. The facilities were fair, with room for enhancement.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were cramped with poor lighting and overlooked by a neighboring building, marked walls, and dusty curtains. Room 305 should definitely be avoided due to the unpleasant smell of rotting fruit and sweat. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the location was charming with nearby attractions. The dining experience left much to be desired. The facilities were average.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The uniquely decorated rooms come with all the amenities you might need, but I was disappointed with room 305, a cheaply converted store room across the rear yard. The service was exceptional, with special attention for my birthday and helpful staff assisting in various ways. The location was perfect, allowing for easy access to great restaurants and transportation. The dining experience had its flaws but included a nicely done tarte tatin. The facilities were decent overall.

I was allocated room 305, which is across the rear yard in a very cheaply converted store room - what a disappointment. While the other rooms may be fine, room 305 should be avoided at all costs. The room was appointed in a cool unique fashion; however, the floors were creaky, the lighting was very dark, and the bath tub/shower was difficult to go in and out of. The bed was stylish and comfortable but the overall lighting was so dim that it felt like a cave.

The rooms were appointed in a cool and unique fashion, but the floors were creaky, the lighting was very dark, and the bath tub/shower was difficult to maneuver. The hotel room was small for two people, but the balcony was nice. The bed looked good but was uncomfortable to sleep in. The closet had poor lighting, and the neighboring building overlooked it. Despite the impractical room setup for a business trip, there were marks on the wall from previous paintings.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, while a bit dated and dark, were still comfortable, especially for a solo traveler on a short stay. However, room 305 was a big letdown, being located in a poorly converted store room. The service was exceptional, with incredibly kind and professional staff who went above and beyond to assist, even helping with special requests for my bride's pre-wedding preparations. The location was excellent, close to great dining and shopping spots, though the setting in a funeral parlor was a bit unsettling. The dining experience lacked basic amenities and felt overpriced for what was provided. Overall, a decent stay tainted by room allocation and dining issues.

The hotel's rooms were just what we needed on our holiday - clean, cozy, and luxurious, although a bit cramped with dark walls and heavy furniture.
